A Chicago-based musician and media artist, Kent can be found creating and performing music, composing sequences of images and sounds from popular video games, and repurposing industrial and commercial media. His ever-mutating art-pop band Roommate has been performing stateside and abroad for almost two decades.
His artist talk on February 9th, will feature new work and old hits as Kent charts his professional pathway as an experimental media maker.
ClusterFlux is an event series organized by the Media Arts & Design (MAAD) Program at the University of Chicago. All events are on campus and free & open.
